Founded by Charli Mayne in 2026, Entr’acte Theatre Company is the Mornington Peninsula’s first and only all abilities and inclusive community theatre group. Created by young people for young people, Entr’acte Theatre Company is committed to giving the next generation the opportunity to pursue the arts regardless of previous experience. Following the principle that the stage should accommodate the performer and not the other way around, Entr’acte Theatre Company is dedicated to ensuring that the arts and live performance is accessible and inclusive to all, whether that be as a performer, a creative or as an audience member.
Entr’acte Theatre Company is continuously growing and expanding, and with that so are our accessibility measures. Accessibility initiatives taken by Entr’acte Theatre Company include, but are not limited to:
Live theatre captioning at all performances
Ramp and wheelchair accessible performance and rehearsal spaces
PTV accessible performance and rehearsal spaces
Adapted choreography for auditions, rehearsals and performances
Dyslexia friendly fonts on all written communications
Video, image and audio descriptors on all social media posts
